A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic nursing assistance and helps residents with essential daily living activities, such as dressing, hygiene, and mobility. This role also involves monitoring and recording vital signs and documenting care provided according to facility procedures.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a valid CNA certification in the state of employment, with a valid CPR certificate being preferred. Six months of experience in a long-term care environment is preferred for this position.

Licenses/Certification Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment. Valid CPR certificate preferred.
Experience Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.
A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II.
