The role involves providing rewarding work by helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities grow, learn, and live well while developing meaningful relationships with them. Responsibilities include supporting participants with personal hygiene, complex needs, behavioral challenges, and developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
Candidates should possess six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination, although this is preferred, not strictly required. Essential attributes include being compassionate, patient, and reliable, along with having a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
