Job description

Unit: CLERK

Location: Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon

Schedule: Full time

Rate

$17.00/hr. -$17.75

Job summary

This position provides clerical support to the facility nursing team, for the units they support.

Responsibilities

Schedules residents appts (inhouse consults and out of house appts)
Schedules transportation for resident appts out of house
Obtains insurance (Medicaid) Approval for transportation if applicable
Discuss out of pocket transport cost with appropriate responsible party/patient if applicable
Provides completed outside appt information to resident/responsible party
