The Primary Therapist manages client caseloads through one-on-one sessions, bio-psycho-social assessments, and the development of individualized treatment plans. They are also responsible for facilitating group therapy and collaborating with medical and operational teams to ensure quality care.
A Master's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in the substance abuse field. Required certifications include LCAS, CADC, or LCMHC, along with knowledge of chemical dependency and dual diagnosis.
Description The Primary Therapist is responsible for managing client caseloads. This includes weekly one on one sessions, bio/psycho/social assessments, and treatment planning, maintaining contact with client’s family members and leading group facilitation. The Primary Therapist maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment, and communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all clients per company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Education – Master's level preferred or (related experience in substance abuse field.) Certifications - LCAS, CADC, LCMHC Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience. Understanding of the range of treatment and interventions needed for chemically dependent individuals.
