The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performs complex invasive procedures. This includes positioning patients and preparing contrast media to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment.
Candidates must have a State of Connecticut Radiographer license and ARRT certification in Radiography. A graduate from an accredited Radiography program and at least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required, with 1-2 years of IR experience preferred.
At least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist required, 1-2 years IR experience preferred.
