The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner provides total patient management for neonatal patients in collaboration with a physician, assessing, diagnosing, and treating health problems. They ensure optimal patient outcomes by following established standards and protocols while maintaining compliance with institutional guidelines.
Candidates must be licensed as an RN with an MSN degree and certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, including prescriptive authority. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
