The Urologist will be involved in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of urologic conditions, both surgical and non-surgical. The role includes participation in clinical and research programs and opportunities to design new programs.
Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology and have an interest in both clinical practice and research. Experience in a busy urology practice and familiarity with advanced technologies is preferred.

MUSC Department of Urology delivers the region’s most comprehensive range of Urologic services, encompassing every Urologic subspecialty, with more than 42,000 outpatient encounters each year. The candidate selected for hire will experience a busy, comprehensive office and surgical urology practice utilizing the full spectrum of technology, including robotics and laparoscopy. This Urologist’s practice week will consist of an average of 3 days in a MUSC clinic setting and 1 day in the operating room and 1 day per week at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. The RHJVAMC is a 5-Star facility, one of the top 10% of VA facilities nationwide, and the 6th fastest growing. Academic Rank and appointment status will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
