The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care and supervision to individuals served, ensuring their health, safety, and dignity. This role includes assisting with daily living needs and promoting independence through person-centered practices.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and meet Minnesota DHS background study requirements. Preferred qualifications include experience with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities and active status on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care and supervision to individuals served in accordance with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations, individual service plans, and organizational policies. DSPs support daily living needs, promote independence, and ensure the health, safety, and dignity of each person served. What it comes down to is making sure our residents are safe and having fun!
