The Nurse Practitioner will provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in an urgent care setting. Responsibilities include performing clinical assessments and utilizing onsite diagnostic tools like X-ray and lab testing.

About the Position

Flexible, shift-based schedule 1 week - 2 12s and 1 weekend, the following week -3 12s, no weekend call Clinic Hours are M-F 7 am to 7 pm, Sat 8 am to 6 pm, and Sun 1 pm to 5 pm Onsite Lab, X-Ray, and POC Testing Robust support staff Epic EMR Background in Emergency or Urgent Care Recruitment Package may include: Base Salary CEU Allowance Medical debt consultative services by Navigate Student Loans Paid malpractice coverage Health benefits + Retirement plan Marketing + practice growth About UT Health East Texas: The UT Health East Texas system is comprised of nine hospitals, more than 90 physician clinics, over 500 employed providers, 13 regional rehabilitation facilities, two freestanding emergency centers, six urgent care clinics, regional home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of more than 60 ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive seven-trauma center care network, including a Level 1 trauma center. Our service area has a population of over 1.1 million.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Board Eligible or Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. A background in Emergency or Urgent Care is required for this role.
