The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care and physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. They also assist in the clinical education of students and provide guidance to support personnel.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program and possess a valid certification in the State of Indiana. Additionally, a Basic Life Support certification through the AHA is required.

Inpatient - Please note that this position will currently work at our Ball Memorial (Muncie) location until our Future Ft. Wayne Hospital completion, estimated in 2027.
Shift: 26 hours weekly, 1 Saturday per month
Physical therapist assistants provide direct patient care and selected physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. PTA's assist in the clinical education of physical therapy students and clinical supervision of physical therapist assistant students as well as provide guidance and supervision for support personnel. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
