The Registered Nurse collects and assesses patient data to provide therapeutic care for spinal pain management. They collaborate with an interprofessional team to develop and execute care plans while ensuring patient safety and ethical practice.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid MA RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred, along with experience in a teaching hospital or specialty area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): Integrates nursing interventions into the interprofessional plan of care, incorporating appropriate standards of care and practice and patient outcomes Implements safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures and standards, and interventions as noted on the interprofessional plan of care. Sets priorities adapting to changing patient and unit/clinic situations. In response to data indicating urgent and/or emergent risk to patient, initiates action to reduce or correct risk. Assumes responsibility and accountability for effectively managing nursing care of individual patients/families as a team member. Documents the nursing process to reflect a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient and family care. Evaluates patient's responses to care based on effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relationship to established outcomes and consults with Medical Staff and Spine Center Team regarding clinical variances and recommended changes to the plan of care. Identifies learning needs of patients/families and teaches by adapting standard information to provide individualized and comprehensive teaching and learning.
MA RN License BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred Experience working at a teaching hospital and/or specialty area expertise EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 0-1 year of experience OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Consistently promote a culture of Wellbeing, Empathy, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Equity as outlined in the organization's WE CARE values. Ability to handle difficult conversations while being respectful and professional at all times. Pay Range: $37.00 - $95.37 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
