Responsible for administering respiratory care procedures, diagnostic testing, and pharmacological agents as prescribed by a physician. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to monitor patient responses, manage mechanical ventilation, and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
Requires an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy and a valid Florida or Compact State license as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist. Candidates must possess 2 years of relevant experience and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
Education Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Life Support (ACLS)- American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Life Support (PALS)- American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Work Experience 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
