The Certified Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive women’s healthcare, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum support. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage patient care and perform routine gynecological services.
Candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Midwifery and possess active RN and APRN licensure. Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and BLS certification are required.
The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) provides comprehensive women’s healthcare with a focus on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, and gynecological services. The CNM practices in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the lifespan. This role emphasizes education, prevention, and support to promote optimal health outcomes for women and newborns.
