Overview Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a CT Technologist for our Radiology Department. This is a per diem, 8-hour variable shift position reporting to the Director/Supervisor of Radiology. Candidate must be able to rotate on call as needed.
The CT Tech must have knowledge of full anatomy and have ability to operate the scanner independently without supervision. Candidate must have the ability to manage working in a demanding modality and cope with working late hours. Candidate will have knowledge of all supplies for performing CT procedures.
Certification from CDPH as Diagnostic Radiology and Fluoroscopy Technologist required. Advanced certification in computed tomography by 1/1/18 required. Current BLS (AHA) certification required. Minimum of 2 years experience or advanced certification in ARRT Computed Tomography.
