The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, plans, and provides therapy for patients presenting with speech/language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. This role requires effective communication with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and all internal/external customers.
A Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited college or university is required, along with a valid Indiana Speech Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Preferred qualifications include MBSImp certification, experience with inpatient/outpatient video swallow studies, and NICU feeding experience with preemies.
