The physician will manage a full-time schedule involving both clinic duties, seeing approximately 20 patients per day, and hospital procedures, including managing inpatient rounding and handling consults with support from a Physician Assistant. The role involves a 1:5 call rotation initially, which will transition to 1:3, covering rounds and call duties.
The position requires a physician to join an established, busy cardiology program within a Joint Commission-accredited hospital setting. Candidates must be prepared for a high volume of patient interactions across clinic visits, consults, and inpatient admissions, utilizing the EPIC EMR system.
