About the role

Physicians are responsible for interpreting various diagnostic imaging studies and performing image-guided procedures, while Advanced Practice Providers assist with Interventional Radiology and procedural services, including patient evaluations and documentation. We are recruiting across multiple radiology service lines and welcome candidates interested in a collaborative, high-quality, patient-centered environment. Location

Responsibilities

  • Nurse Practitioners (NPs)(Supporting Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology services)⸻Practice Highlights
  • Hospital-based radiology practice
  • Diverse case mix including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency imaging
  • Modern imaging equipment and advanced technology
  • Strong collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams
  • Opportunities for full-time and part-time roles (position-dependent)
  • APP roles integrated within Interventional Radiology and procedural services⸻Responsibilities (Role-Dependent)Radiology Physicians
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine as applicable)
  • Perform image-guided procedures (for Interventional Radiology roles)
  • Breast imaging interpretation and procedures (for Breast Imaging roles)
  • Participate in on-call coverage as required
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure timely, high-quality patient care and reportingAdvanced Practice Providers
  • Assist with Interventional Radiology and procedural services
  • Perform patient evaluations, follow-ups, and documentation
  • Coordinate care with radiologists, nursing staff, and referring providers
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient procedural workflows

Qualifications

  • Physicians
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
  • Fellowship training preferred for subspecialty roles (IR, Breast Imaging)
  • Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
  • Ability to obtain hospital privileges and credentialingAdvanced Practice Providers
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
  • Active or eligible Illinois licensure
  • Experience in Radiology or Interventional Radiology preferred
  • Strong communication and clinical skills Pay Transparency Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $600,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure. Requirements

Physicians must hold an MD or DO, be Board Certified or Eligible in Radiology, and preferably have fellowship training for subspecialty roles, along with eligibility for Illinois medical licensure. Advanced Practice Providers need to be graduates of an accredited PA or NP program with active or eligible Illinois licensure, with experience in Radiology or Interventional Radiology preferred.
