As part of our rehabilitation team, you'll work alongside experienced Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and caregivers to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You'll work with patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, and hospitalization while helping them safely improve mobility, balance, endurance, strength, and functional independence.
Every treatment session is an opportunity to help patients achieve meaningful progress toward returning to their highest level of function.
Deliver physical therapy treatments established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the Physical Therapist. Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, gait, strength, endurance, and functional independence. Accurately document treatments, patient progress, and daily billing. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated patient care. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise and maintenance programs. Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate. Maintain compliance with all state licensure requirements and Concept Rehab policies. Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice (or eligible for licensure).
