The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for mixing and preparing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation of medication charges. They also perform patient care activities, maintain safety standards, and assist in departmental quality initiatives.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a national pharmacy technician certification approved by the Nebraska Board of Pharmacy. At least six months of relevant hospital pharmacy experience and Basic Life Support certification are required.
