Requirements summary
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and hold an RRT credential. Additionally, a Missouri Respiratory License and a Class E Driver’s License are required.

Job Description
A Registered Respiratory Therapist possesses the clinical expertise for assessment of patient/client respiratory equipment needs and for the selection and troubleshooting of appropriate equipment and/or services provided to meet those needs. They are also skilled in instructing patients and/or caregivers on the care and use of equipment/supplies/therapies associated with respiratory care and disease management along with creating care plans for respiratory care and disease management. This care is provided in the home environment, hospital, clinic or Home Support office.
