The dental hygienist will provide quality clinical care, including scaling, polishing, and taking X-rays while maintaining accurate patient records. They are also responsible for educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and building positive, comfortable relationships with them.
Candidates must hold a valid Maryland Dental Hygienist license and possess at least one year of clinical experience. Current BLS/CPR certifications and up-to-date training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control are mandatory.
Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care Reviewing patient's history and charting Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing Documents area of existing restorations Use of X-ray Support the dentist with procedures as needed
