  • Summary: Calling all Medical Assistants and Certified Medical Assistants! Our busy clinics are recruiting for Medical Assistants! We need your training and skills to help our clinic run smoothly, providing our patients with top-notch quality care. The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for providing patient care under the direction of a physician or another healthcare provider. The MA works to facilitate clinic workflow, assist patients, and ensure safe, seamless delivery of care for each patient. In this role, the MA will also be cross-trained to function as a Patient Service Representative (PSR), supporting front-end operations and contributing to a dual-role model that enhances clinic efficiency and patient experience. This position will support medical and surgical specialties across the South Region, including but not limited to Highlands Ranch, Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, and Littleton. We also offer a robust training program for all new hires during their first 1–2 weeks, which includes comprehensive instruction on both front-end and back-end clinic operations.

Accurately documents all care provided and procedures performed within the patient’s medical record. Dual role – cross-trained to be a Patient Service Representative.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Medical Assistant: Completion of an accredited medical assistant program OR one year of medical assistant work experience. Certified Medical Assistant: Completion of an accredited medical assistant program. One year of medical assistant work experience. Current CMA certification (i.e., AAMA, NCCT). Substitution (All Levels): A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship or employment authorization for this position now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications (All Levels): Experience with MS Office. Experience with EPIC. Experience with Kronos. Experience with HealthStream. Conditions of Employment (All Levels): Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross healthcare provider-level CPR certification. Maintains all required licensure and certifications for the position. Must be able to work in-person. Must be able to travel to alternate locations as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (All Levels): Strong organizational and personal skills. Strong medical terminology knowledge and skills. Strong knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 procedures. Strong knowledge of value-based care and risk-based coding procedures in Primary Care. Strong knowledge of medication and injection procedures. Ability to safely administer a variety of treatments and medications as directed. Ability to use various types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures. Ability to accurately take and record vital signs. Ability to accurately reconcile patient medications. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
