The Physical Therapist Assistant administers skilled physical therapy treatments to help residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. They also collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and document resident progress according to established plans of care.
Candidates must hold a current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing and be a graduate of an accredited PTA program. Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled physical therapy treatments to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
