The Certified Surgical Tech, First Assistant will position patients for surgery and maintain clear visualization of the operative site. They are also responsible for assisting with hemostasis, wound closure, and the application of dressings during surgical procedures.

How you'll contribute A Certified Surgical Tech, First Assist who excels in this role: Assist the surgeon during procedures by providing exposure, handling tissue, suturing, and controlling bleeding Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready and properly handled Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and pass instruments and materials efficiently during procedures Perform preoperative and postoperative duties, including patient positioning, skin preparation, and wound dressing Ensure compliance with surgical protocols, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards Additional Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and interact professionally with patients, clients, vendors, and other external partners Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, including HIPAA Follow established policies, procedures, and best practices Perform other duties as assigned Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.

Free Parking What we're looking for Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent), Associates Degree preferred, and Graduate of an Accredited program for Surgical Scub Technicians.
