The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging on patients using technical equipment and administers contrast materials as required. They are also responsible for preparing the scan room, screening patients for contraindications, and maintaining patient records for radiologists.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree in a healthcare-related field and be ARRT registered or registry-eligible. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT MRI certification within two years of hire.
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to; performing magnetic resonance imaging on patients utilizing highly technical equipment and administering contrast materials as required. Other functions that may be assigned.
