The physical therapy assistant provides direct patient care under the direction of a physical therapist to restore function and relieve pain. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate clinical records and participating in team meetings.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with an Associate's degree. A current state license and CPR certification are required, along with a valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

Reports to: Physical Therapist or Rehab Director
The physical therapy assistant provides physical therapy services under the direction of the physical therapist and according to the physician's plan of care (or other authorized licensed independent practitioner) plan of care.
1. Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with either an Associate’s degree in science or applied science that is approved by American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
2. Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
3. Current certification or license as required by state law.
4. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
