About the role

The Electrophysiology Technologist is responsible for the daily clinical operations of the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab. They ensure all procedures are performed safely and in compliance with national standards and departmental policies.

  • What you will do: Is responsible for the day to day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab and ensures that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise and professional manner in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published standards. .
  • What you will need:
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: RCES certification preferred. BLS and ACLS thru American Heart Association is required.

Education

Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular program, Radiology program or Respiratory program.

Experience

  • One year of cardiac cath lab and EP experience is required. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­

Requirements

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a cardiac cath lab and EP setting. A successful completion of an approved cardiovascular, radiology, or respiratory program is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
