The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic procedures, manages radiopharmaceuticals, and ensures radiation safety protocols are followed. They also provide direct patient care, including clinical assessments and education, while maintaining accurate records in the Radiology Information System.
Candidates must hold a professional certification in Nuclear Medicine technology (NMTCB or ARRT(N)) and possess at least 5 years of experience in a hospital or office setting. CPR certification is also required or must be obtained within the first six months of employment.
Description Introduction Raleigh Radiology facilities and free-standing outpatient imaging centers are located in Wake County, N.C., and surrounding areas. Raleigh Radiology is seeking a skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role functions with a high degree of independence and professionalism and serves as a collaborative member of the healthcare team.
