The clinician conducts intake and discharge assessments, develops therapeutic treatment plans, and provides counseling for individuals with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. They also maintain client records, provide crisis intervention, and coordinate with medical and psychiatric staff to ensure effective care.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in behavioral sciences and possess a relevant clinical license such as LADC, LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. Two years of counseling experience is preferred, along with knowledge of ASAM requirements and federal/state confidentiality laws.
