The optometrist will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and laser eye care to patients across multiple practice locations. They are expected to integrate new clinical techniques and maintain high standards of patient service and care.
Overview We are a growing private practice with 3 locations throughout Chicagoland. We are searching for a full time/part time medical optometrist to join our medical team. We provide a full range of laser, surgical, and medical eye care to a large volume of the Chicagoland area specifically in the Elgin and Lombard offices. The newest practice location is a state-of-the-art facility with a LASIK Suite. This practice is surrounded by many optometric and primary care referral sources and is seeking an energetic, self-motivated optometrist who wishes to grow with the practice. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. An excellent bedside manner is paramount.
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution. Board Certification Completion of residency program in either anterior segment / primary care / ocular disease. Valid Illinois state licensure to practice optometry. Extensive experience in pre- and post op cataract and refractive procedures. Extensive experience in discussing and managing premium IOL's The practice offers a competitive salary and benefits; including health & dental insurance, PTO/ 2 weeks of vacation, 401K.Position can be full time right away.
