The dental assistant will provide chair-side support to providers, manage patient comfort, and handle clinical tasks such as taking radiographs and sterilizing equipment. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with all dental health regulations.
Candidates must be a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with at least six months of practical experience and current CPR or BCLS certification. Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program is preferred.

Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile. Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health. Take and process dental radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos. Prepares and sterilizes treatment room and equipment. Provide chair-side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures. Document dental care services by charting in patients’ records. Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment. Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with a valid registration. Six (6) or more months of practical experience as a dental assistant. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (Preferred). Quick learner with problem solving skills Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records, scheduling, etc. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth. Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
