The Endoscopy Technician assists physicians and healthcare providers with endoscopy procedures, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient monitoring. They also manage department functionality by maintaining equipment, performing decontamination, and distributing necessary supplies.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a BLS-Basic Life Support certification. Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal principles, medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.
