Responsibilities
include administering chemotherapy treatments and monitoring patient responses, performing advanced venipuncture, phlebotomy, and IV catheter placement, providing nursing care for hospitalized oncology patients, monitoring patients receiving chemotherapy and other specialty treatments, performing in-house laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures, assisting with sedation and anesthesia procedures, calculating medication dosages accurately and independently, maintaining detailed medical records and treatment documentation, collaborating closely with oncology specialists and hospital teams, and delivering exceptional client communication and patient care.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of veterinary technician experience
Advanced venipuncture and catheter placement skills
Experience monitoring anesthesia and sedation cases
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to remain calm in fast-paced or emergency situations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to cross-train and support other hospital departments when needed
