The Certified Medical Technologist II performs routine and complex laboratory analyses while identifying and correcting technical problems. They are responsible for maintaining current knowledge of laboratory theory and exercising independent judgment in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Candidates must hold an associate degree in clinical laboratory science or medical technology and possess MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or MLT(ASCP) certification. Proficiency in laboratory terminology and the ability to work effectively in a stressful environment are required.
