The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist, including therapeutic interventions and documentation. They also assist with patient scheduling, maintain treatment equipment, and instruct families on home exercise programs.
Candidates must be licensed and eligible to practice as a COTA in the state of service and hold a valid CPR certification. Strong communication, time management, and clinical documentation skills are required, with familiarity in electronic medical records preferred.
