The Cytotechnologist will visually evaluate and process various patient cell samples to perform diagnostic procedures for cancer detection. They are also responsible for maintaining quality control, troubleshooting laboratory equipment, and training new employees.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field and have completed an accredited cytotechnology program. Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT-ASCP) is required, or must be obtained within six months of hire.
