The technologist performs clinical and research procedures, including the production and evaluation of CT images. They are also responsible for medication oversight, specifically the documentation and delivery of contrast media.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program. Additionally, an ARRT registration, NYS DOH Radiology license, and BLS certification are required.

Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and imitative. The technologists will produce and evaluate CT images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures. Medication oversight which includes documentation of delivery of contrast media. Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.
High School diploma or equivalent Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast 1 year experience working as a Diagnostic Technologist required Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography preferred BLS- American Heart Association (only accepted)
Usd $52.66 - Usd $65.52 /Hr.
