Participate in a 52-week residency program involving classroom didactics, skill labs, and clinical rotations. Transition into a full-time clinical role within the Emergency Department under the guidance of preceptors.
Must be a new graduate from a BSN program with a minimum overall GPA of 3.3 and a Nursing GPA of 3.5. BLS certification is required upon application.

The 52 week, three 12.5 hour shift, curriculum consists of classroom didactics, skill labs, simulation labs, a two-week critical care course, and clinical hours with the Clinical Nurse Educators and preceptors. After the first 16-week of the program, the nursing residents are transitioned to a full-time clinical setting with their preceptors, which includes a two-week rotation with The emergency Department Critical Care nurse. During 1 year program- ACLS and PALS certification will be obtained 8 CEUs of Stroke and 4 CEUs of Trauma will be obtained Trauma nursing certification Essential Critical Care Orientation Class Seminars
New Graduate from BSN Program Overall required GPA 3.3, Nursing GPA 3.5 Application Submission, Interview ED leadership, ED staff and Human resources BLS certification
