The LPN will perform nursing assessments, medication administration, and monitor patient vitals within an inpatient rehab setting. They will also assist physicians, complete treatment plans, and facilitate patient discharges.

Our Dallas inpatient rehab center offers detox and residential programs tailored for adult men and women in or near Luzerne County. We honor each individual's autonomy in defining their recovery, supporting a multiple-pathways-to-recovery approach, including both medication-assisted and abstinence-based treatments. Our LPNs assist doctors as needed and perform nursing assessments and discharges.
Provide positive feedback and direction to students/interns. Communicate accurate information courteously to nursing and tech staff. Seek supervision and direction from physicians. Complete nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration, and monitor vitals. Understand detox protocols. Assist medical doctors and provide medical lectures. Report unusual occurrences to the nurse supervisor/program director promptly. Ensure room assignments meet clients’ needs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Current LPN license in the state of practice. Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques. Understanding of regulatory bodies such as CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP, and RTFA.
