Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing Obstetrical, Gynecological and continuing care to all appropriate patients in the Garnet Health System.
- The Midwifery is a partner in an interdisciplinary team of care givers and administrative support staff to perform assigned duties while displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of the Garnet Health System, supporting our mission, vision and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients.

- Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
- The range for the role is $142,383 through $161,896 annually.

Qualifications
Position qualifications
- Board Certified Midwife licensed to practice in the State of New York. Demonstrates leadership skills/ability to lead teams and possesses a desire to work as part of an inter-department and interdisciplinary team. Excellent decision-making abilities both collaboratively and independently. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to model skills to office staff. Clinical teaching experience preferred.
- Minimum
- Education: Graduation from a recognized Midwifery Training Program. Master’s Degree preferred. Current NYS license in good standing in the area of Midwifery.

- Experience: Two years of clinical experience, preferably in hospital and outpatient office settings.
- Required
- Certification/Registration: NYS Midwife License, valid and unrestricted. BLS required DEA Certification, valid and unrestricted.

- Requirements: Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the practice of internal medicine or family medicine.
