About the role

Provide full-spectrum family medicine services including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and obstetric care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and APPs to deliver high-quality care in a rural clinical setting.

Summary Practice full-spectrum Family Medicine in a close-knit rural community while enjoying exceptional autonomy and strong clinical support. This role offers the opportunity to provide outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and obstetric care (c-section) in a modern, integrated facility, supported by experienced nursing staff, 24/7 tele-hospitalist coverage, and a collaborative care model alongside two physicians and four APPs—allowing you to practice broadly while maintaining balance. Schedule Full-time | Onsite – CentraCare – Long Prairie, MN Day shifts with call rotation Call rotation shared across OB, ER backup, and hospital coverage Call 1:5 Pay and Benefits

Salary Range

$260,000 - $500,000 per year Pay may be determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, knowledge, location, and internal equity Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate May be eligible for additional pay through bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.

Qualifications

Required: BE/BC in Family Medicine Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure Preferred: Interest and experience in full-spectrum rural medicine Comfort with obstetric care; C-section experience preferred Our Location - Long Prairie CentraCare, a leading not-for-profit health system and one of the largest providers of rural care, serves patients across Central, West Central, and Southwestern Minnesota. It delivers nationally recognized care through 40+ medical and surgical specialties, innovative population health programs, and a collaborative physician–administration leadership model. CentraCare – Long Prairie offers high-quality, convenient care close to home to a service area of nearly 15,000. The campus features a Level IV trauma center and critical access hospital, a family medicine clinic, and wellness center, 12 private inpatient rooms, 8 universal rooms, 2 labor and delivery suites, 2 operating suites, a separate ED entrance with trauma bay, and advanced imaging including MRI and 3D mammography. Outpatient services include chemotherapy, IV infusions, rehabilitation, transitional care, diabetes education, integrated behavioral health, and a midwife program, complemented by visiting specialists and tele-stroke/STEMI collaboration with St. Cloud Hospital. The community of Long Prairie is a thriving hub with a strong agricultural and manufacturing base, major retail center, excellent schools, and abundant recreational and leisure opportunities, all within convenient reach of I-94. Requirements

Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine and eligible for Minnesota medical licensure. Experience in full-spectrum rural medicine and obstetric care, specifically C-sections, is preferred.
