The role involves providing a safe and engaging environment for children through play, care, and supervision. Responsibilities also include managing check-ins, preparing meals, performing basic cleaning, and maintaining documentation while on-call or on-site.
Candidates must be over 20 years old and possess at least 6 months of experience working with children who have special needs or challenging behaviors. Additionally, a food handler permit, First Aid/CPR certification, and the ability to pass a background check are required.
Family Haven is a nonprofit organization with a primary purpose of preventing and treating child abuse. Our mission is to build a community of healthy, happy individuals and families through education and the prevention of child abuse, trauma and other personal and family concerns.
Both individuals should be over the age of 20. Both individuals need to have 6 months of professional or life experience working with children who display challenging behaviors or special needs. Food handler permit & First Aid/CPR certification (we help obtain this during the training period if needed). Ability to pass a background check (we will fingerprint and submit at hiring).
