Assists physicians with complex interventional cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures by operating fluoroscopic and ultrasound equipment. Ensures adherence to radiation safety standards and provides guidance and training to staff and students.
Requires a high school diploma, graduation from an ARRT approved school, and at least one year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab. Must hold current BLS, ARRT, and California state certifications (CRT and CRTFP).

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Radiologic Technologist 2 (Cath Lab Rad Tech 2) is a highly skilled member of the cardiac procedural team who assists physicians with complex interventional cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. This role operates fluoroscopic and ultrasound equipment, manages devices and supplies, and ensures adherence to radiation safety and quality control standards. This role also provides training and guidance to staff and students, helping maintain high standards of care and procedural excellence.
