The Admissions Nurse plays a crucial role in facilitating a smooth transition for new residents and their families. Working closely with the Admissions Coordinator, reviews referrals and inquiries from external sources, conducts initial nursing assessments, and ensures appropriate bed placement, availability of necessary supplies, and staff readiness to deliver the required level of care. This role combines clinical expertise with compassionate, patient-centered care, supporting residents and families through the intake process while also performing essential administrative functions to ensure timely and efficient admissions.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing, a valid California RN license, and BLS certification. At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is required.
