The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, assesses patient needs, and develops care plans in a safe environment. They facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless approach to health delivery.
Candidates must hold an active Ohio RN or LPN license and have graduated from an accredited nursing program. BLS and ACLS certifications are required or preferred, along with prior nursing experience.
A Registered Nurse (RN) renders personal and professional care to patients. Uses a systematic approach to assess patient’s needs, plan care, provide quality/direct care, coordination of care and evaluate care in an efficient, safe environment. The RN facilitates collaboration amongst a variety of disciplines in order to provide a unified and seamless approach to care delivery. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice, for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Patient advocacy, patient safety, and improving health status are priorities when the RN develops the plan of care. The RN will follow orders for care and treatment of the patient and will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital.
A Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities and comfort measures for assigned hospital patients, as directed by the Registered Nurse. This position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing practice for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the RN in charge, and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
Ohio RN or LPN licensure required. BLS, ACLS (ACLS if RN hired), graduate of an accredited nursing program and prior nursing experience preferred.
