The Occupational Therapist performs patient evaluations and treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings. They also provide clinical supervision to assistants, students, and unlicensed personnel while assisting with departmental policies.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a current Ohio Occupational Therapist License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and prior experience in inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.
The Occupational Therapist carries out evaluation and treatment of patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings. The Occupational Therapist assists the department manager in general policy and procedures carried out in the department. The Occupational Therapist provides clinical supervision over Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and other unlicensed personnel. Supervision and delegation of tasks as defined per the Ohio Occupational Therapy Practice Act, to the following individuals: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, student Occupational Therapists, unlicensed personnel, and student Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Bachelor's degree, current Ohio Occupational Therapist License and BLS is required. Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient and outpatient setting is preferred.
