The Radiologic Technologist operates and calibrates diagnostic radiology equipment while serving as a primary member of the patient care team. They provide clinical support in pain clinics and other settings, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Candidates must have completed an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and be a registered technologist or registry eligible. A current BLS Healthcare Provider card is required, with additional stroke education needed for specific team assignments.
SUMMARY The Radiologic Technologist will serve as a primary member of the Radiology Patient Care Team. He/she will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the program. The R.T. is responsible for all diagnostic radiology equipment operation and calibration processes. If in Pain Clinics or other clinic settings, the Radiologic Technologist will serve as a primary member of the Clinic Team and a secondary member of the Radiology Patient Care Team.
