The Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications, performing medical interventions, and documenting resident health status according to physician orders. They also provide personal care and support to elderly residents while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of following established medication administration protocols. A passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and families are required.

As a Medication Technician, you won’t simply assist with medications — you’ll help maintain a safe and nurturing environment while supporting residents’ daily health and comfort. You’ll work closely with licensed nurses and care staff to administer medications, observe residents’ conditions, document changes, and communicate with residents and families as needed. Your attentiveness and dedication will help create a community where residents feel valued, supported, and cared for.
