About the role

The Mental Health Technician observes, reports, and records patient behaviors under nursing supervision. They are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff in compliance with hospital policies.

Responsibilities

  • Foundations Behavioral Health is hiring Mental Health Techs for a weekend position.
  • The schedule is 32 hours/week - Saturday and Sunday 7a - 11:30p.
  • This position offers a part-time benefits package and a weekend differential.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • This position qualifies for a $4,000 joining bonus!
  • Must complete onboarding package within 7 days of job offer.
  • OVERTIME ELIGIBLE: There is opportunity for overtime on various shifts if interested.
  • The Mental Health Technician participates in observing, reporting and recording of patient behaviors under the supervision of nursing.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old Option 1

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in an area of human services, which includes, but may not be limited to the following: psychology sociology, political science, counseling, criminal justice, pastoral counseling, elementary/special education, or family therapy.
