About the role

The Dietitian will provide expert nutrition care by developing and implementing individualized plans to enhance patient health outcomes and will serve as the resident nutrition expert in health team meetings, clearly communicating nutritional data across all systems daily. Responsibilities include conducting nutrition assessments, providing medical nutrition therapy, developing intervention plans aligned with medical goals, and evaluating the effectiveness of these therapies.

Job Summary and Responsibilities The Registered Physical Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed therapy programs to help patients reach their maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.

All the criteria based duties and standards within this document will be performed according to the policies, procedures and guidelines within this document and the Hospital.

Evaluate patients, set up, perform and progress rehabilitation programs Design and communicate home programs.

Document patient notes, certifications, re-certifications and treatment instructions are timely, complete, accurate and easy to follow.

Notes are done in accordance with Quality Improvement documentation criteria.

Patient charges accurately reflect the services, supplies and equipment provided to the patient.

Give an adequate explanation to clients of their injury/condition Give an adequate explanation to clients of the purpose of their treatment.

Ensure clients understand their treatment and rehabilitation goals.

Ensure clients are satisfied with the treatment they receive from the department.

Candidates must be a Registered Dietician holding a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or a related field, and must have completed an approved didactic program and supervised practice program.
